All students will have a notebook check and practice log check this Friday. These should be signed by parents. It is acceptable for students to be writing their practice in their notebooks. Students participating in Band Project get 60 minutes per session so that should be a great assist toward their 150 minutes per week!

This should be SUPER awesome!April 24, 11am - Band Project Showcase at the University of Minnesota, Ferguson Hall, Lloyd Ultan Recital Hall. Please come celebrate an exciting end to this year’s Band Project! Help us to recognize the accomplishments of Folwell’s band project students and hear the terrific work being done under the guidance of the University of Minnesota’s apprentice music teachers! May 1, 7pm - Beginning Ensembles Concert @ Folwell. Come support the great work of the 5/6 Firebird Band!!!
May 9, 12pm - International Market Square Annual Gala - Come enjoy Folwell's finest in an extraordinary setting. Enjoy a lunch buffet by D'Amico catering during the performance.
May 22 - 7pm - Spring Band Concert: Enjoy music performed By Concert Band, Varisty Band and Jazz Workshop. This proves to be a joyous night of music making. Featuring works by: Ticheli, Hailstork, Williams, Gillingham and others!
